TM-Europe 2011 International Conference.
Another edition of the TM-Europe conference, focused on issues related to process management and solutions employed in the translation and localization industry, was held on 29th and 30th September in Warsaw. Most presentations concerned the progress in the development of the most popular file formats, such as XLIFF and TMX, and their practical application as well as attempts at introducing localization project management standards.
In addition to the key topic, the latest versions of the leading CAT systems, systems and translation project management solutions were also presented during the conference. The opportunity to exchange experiences among the representatives of several European companies during the speed networking sessions between the presentations was also very important.
This year’s edition of the TM-Europe conference was combined with the celebration of the 10th anniversary of the Polish Association of Translation Agencies. As a part of the celebrations, a formal gala was organized during which awards were presented to the honorable representatives of the Polish translation and localization industry.
