The 17th edition of the Localization World conference was held between June 14–16 in Barcelona. The leading topic of this year's edition was innovation. As usual, the conference gathered a number of localization, translation and linguistic professionals, as well as representatives of the largest corporations - the main buyers of the localization services. The conference consisted of a significant number of presentations and panel discussions related to the idea of innovation in the field of localization, translation and marketing of language services. Machine translation (MT) preconference seminars were also very interesting.

The exhibition area is a very important part of each Localization World conference. The biggest and well-known localization companies, as well as CAT and project management tool providers presented their products and services in the exhibition stands.
Service providers not only had a chance to meet their customers and peers personally in the conference hall, but also had a great opportunity for networking during the two get-together dinners after the first and second conference day.
Four employees of C&M Localization Center took part both in the preconference seminars and the conference itself. The knowledge gained will be well used in the further development of our unique translation support technology, as well as quality assurance process in order to help our company meet and exceed our customers’ expectations and reduce the translation cost at the same time.
