The Second Edition of the Certified Localisation Professional Training Course.
On August 4-7, a C&M's representative took part in a training organized by an international organization, The Institute of Localisation Professionals (TILP), in cooperation with the Polish Association of Translation Agencies. The second edition of the Certified Localisation Professional (CLP) training was held in Warsaw. It was preceded by an on-line training consisting of 10 modules.
The on-site training was led by an expert in localization and CAT tools. Several examples of translation software were discussed as well as their usefulness in the work of project managers and translators. The question of modern localization project management methods was also talked over.
The training ended with an exam testing the knowledge acquired during the on-line and on-site stages. The participants had also a chance to take the SDL Trados Level 1 on-line exam.
The C&M's employee passed the exam and was awarded the Certified Localisation Professional Level 1 certificate.
